Rolling on the River

Sgt. Miles Ritter was just getting used to his new promotion to civilian. After five long years touring the world's hot spots he was happy to be returning home.

 

Home just wasn't the same as when he left. Automation is replacing many of the jobs he is qualified for. Most of the people he knew have changed dramatically, while he was away. Or maybe it is simply he who has changed?
